21” Bon Heur Du Jour - In translation from French it means "daytime delight". Designed as a Lady's writing desk this feature product offers details found in fine furniture from quality craftsman, these features are rarely seen in modern furniture. The top section has 3 small drawers and 2 pigeon holes framed by decorative pillars. On the very top surface there is a shaped mould designed to stop objects from falling off the back, this item when originally designed would often not sit against the wall. The top of the 2 main drawers pulls out and acts as a rest for the polished wood surface to fold open revealing a detailed leather inlaid top.
